About Martina Pek Mrazovac

Martina Pek Mrazovac is a third-generation professional dog trainer, breeder, and canine educator whose family has been continuously involved in professional dog breeding and training since 1962. Raised within one of Europe’s established working dog programs, she was introduced to canine development, breeding selection, and working dog training from an early age and has dedicated her life to advancing the standards established by previous generations.

With more than 30 years of hands-on experience, Martina has contributed to the breeding, development, training, and placement of thousands of working dogs throughout Europe and the United States. Her work has encompassed German Shepherds, Dobermans, Belgian Malinois, Rottweilers, and other working breeds developed for family protection, personal protection, service work, sport, law enforcement, and search and rescue applications.

Martina holds advanced international credentials, including FCI certification as a Master Trainer Instructor and recognition as a Golden Crown Trainer. She has completed professional education through the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) training system and the Hungarian Kennel Club’s instructor programs for trainers and helpers, further strengthening her expertise in working dog development and handler education.

Throughout her career, Martina has overseen breeding and development programs focused on temperament stability, environmental confidence, trainability, structural soundness, and working capability. Breeding selections are based on proven working pedigrees, health evaluations, temperament assessments, and multi-generational performance history to ensure each dog possesses the qualities required for modern family and personal protection work.

Her experience extends beyond breeding and puppy development to advanced obedience, protection training, canine behavior evaluation, and trainer education. She has worked with private families, professional handlers, law enforcement organizations, search and rescue teams, and discerning clients seeking highly trained working dogs capable of integrating safely into everyday family life.

As co-owner of Apex Force K9 | Elite Protection Dogs, Martina oversees breeding decisions, puppy development protocols, temperament evaluations, and training standards. Her philosophy centers on producing dogs that combine stability, intelligence, sound structure, and practical working ability, ensuring each dog can perform reliably while maintaining the temperament necessary for life within a family environment.

Today, Martina continues to preserve and expand a family legacy spanning more than six decades, helping shape the next generation of elite working and protection dogs for clients throughout the United States and internationally.

  • A quiet home that suddenly becomes chaotic
  • A public setting with unknown people and distractions
  • A situation that escalates without warning

The difference is not in intensity—it is in decision-making.

Protection training is not about creating aggression. It is about building a dog that remains clear-headed under pressure, understands its role, and responds only when necessary.
