About Laszlo Pek Mrazovac

Laszlo Pek Mrazovac is a professional animal trainer and working dog specialist whose career spans both the equine and canine industries. Before entering the professional dog training field, Laszlo established himself as a horse trainer and active competitor in sulky horse racing, working extensively with performance horses and developing a strong understanding of animal behavior, conditioning, and performance management.

In 2000, Laszlo married Martina Pek Mrazovac and joined a family whose professional dog breeding and training history dates back to 1962. Through direct involvement in the family business, he transitioned into the working dog industry and has since accumulated more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the development, training, evaluation, and placement of working dogs throughout Europe and the United States.

Over the course of his career, Laszlo has helped develop and place thousands of working dogs for private families, executives, professional handlers, law enforcement agencies, and search and rescue organizations. His expertise includes canine behavior, advanced obedience, personal protection training, environmental conditioning, puppy development, and handler education.

Laszlo has completed advanced professional education through the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) training system and has participated in specialized working dog programs focused on practical dog handling, protection work, and operational canine deployment. His training philosophy emphasizes temperament stability, environmental confidence, clear-headed decision-making, and practical functionality in real-world situations.

Throughout his work, Laszlo has been involved in the evaluation and development of German Shepherds, Dobermans, Belgian Malinois, and other working breeds. Selection and development standards focus on temperament suitability, health evaluations, environmental resilience, social stability, and proven working genetics, ensuring each dog possesses the qualities necessary for family life as well as dependable protection work.

As co-owner of Apex Force K9 | Elite Protection Dogs, Laszlo oversees dog selection, training development, client education, and final placement. His work centers on producing dogs that can integrate safely into family environments while maintaining the reliability and control expected of professionally trained protection dogs.

Today, Laszlo continues to work directly with clients across the United States and internationally, developing family protection dogs, personal protection dogs, and executive protection dogs for individuals seeking professionally trained canine companions with proven real-world capability.

  • A quiet home that suddenly becomes chaotic
  • A public setting with unknown people and distractions
  • A situation that escalates without warning

The difference is not in intensity—it is in decision-making.

Protection training is not about creating aggression. It is about building a dog that remains clear-headed under pressure, understands its role, and responds only when necessary.
